METROS AND RAILWAYS
The area of subways and railways involves all the disciplines necessary for the elaboration of permanent route projects, equipment and auxiliary systems, construction planning, demand studies, interferences, expropriations and complete projects, and functional adjustments of stations, both passengers and as well as studies and projects of subterranean and containment works ("cut and cover").
ENGECORPS serves public and private entities, railway and subway companies, both in the implementation of new projects and in the recovery and / or expansion of existing infrastructure capacity.

Line 5 of São Paulo Metro
Construtora Andrade Gutierrez / Camargo Corrêa Consortium
Selection of technology and elaboration of Final design of the Permanent Route of Lot 3 of Line 5 - Lilac of the São Paulo Metro, with 5,075.5 m of extension, being formed by two simple routes in parallel tunnels, resulting, therefore, in 10,151 m tunnel track. The track gauge is 1,435 mm and the rails used have profile 60-E1, with resilient attachments. The superstructure of the permanent way uses the mass-spring system, which is a damping system that prevents the vibrations and secondary noise induced by the passage of the trains in the track reach levels above the allowable, thus preserving the comfort of the residents. 849.71 m of access roads were also projected on raised paving slab.

Pinheiros Station – Line 4 of São Paulo Metro
Via Amarela Consortium
Final design of Reconstruction of the Pinheiros Station, Line 4 of the São Paulo Metro System involving two station units: NATM station body tunnel, 132 m long and 19 m wide; Capri Well, 41m in diameter and 30m in depth. The project covered field investigations and verifications, analysis of underground interferences, analysis of the situation and verification of buildings near the station, stability studies of tunnels and slopes, design of necessary reinforcements, definition of instrumentation plans and the drainage and drainage system design, treatment and reinforcement projects as well as structural projects.

Cerrejón Complex
CNO Colombia
Preparation of studies and engineering projects for the infrastructure works planned within the Cerrejón Complex expansion program, including diversion of the Rancheria river and civil infrastructure and superstructure project for the duplication of 34 km of the interconnection railroad mine and port, as well as rail links and loops near the mine and port. The Cerrejón mine is located in the municipality of Albania, in the department of La Guajira, northern Colombia. It is one of the largest open-cast coal holdings in the world and the largest in the country. With mineral resources estimated at 2,193 million tons of coal, the Complex covers 69,000 hectares, divided into five exploration areas.
